Zero Emission Vessels: Transition Pathways

Jan 18 2019

Zero Emission Vessels: Transition Pathways, is part of the Low Carbon Pathways 2050 and Zero Emission Vessels 2030 series. In our previous reports, we showed that Zero Emission Vessels (ZEVs) need to be entering service by 2030 and looked at the competitive viability of ZEVs, but we are increasingly being asked what does this transition look like and how do we make it happen?

In this report, Zero Emission Vessels - Transition Pathways, we identify the conditions that will need to happen to achieve a transition towards a decarbonised shipping industry. We map potential transition pathways (milestones, enablers and barriers) that a wide range of shipping stakeholders can use to guide their own strategies.
