UMAS & Lloyd's Register Zero Emission Vessel webinar - 4th December
UMAS is pleased to invite you to participate in the launch of our Zero Emission Vessels 2030 study, which is part of the Low Carbon Pathways 2050 series released in 2016. The previous report, Low Carbon Pathways 2050, showed that, to achieve an absolute reduction in CO2 emissions in line with the Paris Agreement, Zero Emission Vessels (ZEVs) need to be entering service by 2030 but the question we are increasingly asked is ‘how are we going to achieve this in practice?’
UMAS in collaboration with Lloyd’s Register will present the findings of the study which aims to demonstrate the viability of Zero Emission Vessels: identifying the drivers that need to be in place to make them a competitive solution for decarbonisation.
We have two webinar sessions available at 8:30 and 14:00 U.K time on 4th December. The registration links are as follows:
There will be opportunities for questions and discussion after the presentation.
